After touring the Grand Palace, we somehow crammed all five of us into a tuk tuk for the short ride over to Wat Po. I'm glad we didn't try to walk, even though it was rather close by. We still had a long ways to go.
Wat Po is one of Thailand's most famous wats. It was set up long ago and sponsored by the king as a sort of early university for the people.
We had very little time and energy left to explore it, alas.
My friend Susan had recommended getting a massage there! We mainly just collapsed by this fountain until we had enough energy to drag ourselves into the huge hall housing the famous Reclining Buddha.
